EMSAT service replaces ESAT service & L-band frequency shift

Satellite service provider Inmarsat requested Fugro to move our DGNSS services from 1539 MHz to 1545-46 MHz.

As a result Fugro's ESAT augmentation service (covering the Atlantic) will be replaced with a close-to-identical service called EMSAT on 27 October 2021.

The changeover period begins on 15 September 2021, providing a six-week period of dual operation.

It is important to verify that automatic switchover has occurred, and for users whose equipment requires manual configuration, to make the changes manually.
