Do I have an active subscription? (Seastar 3510LR)

Questions regarding whether your vessel has an active subscription agreement should normally be handled by your key account manager, who can be reached via seastarsales@fugro.com if you don't have their direct contact details.

If you need to check whether your receiver has received the correct expiry date according to your contract you can find instructions below, further information can be found at fsp.support/seastar/ or in your printed equipment manual

You can check the subscription type from the 'Home' screen on the main display

  • Press the UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously to enter the Home screen
  • The letters in the bottom-left corner of the display identify the subscription type that the demodulator is currently configured for
  • Check that the subscription is correct according to the type of GPS receiver and your subscription agreement
  • To check that the expiry date is correct you must enter the Current Channel menu (press , until the display shows 'Current Channel', then press the DOWN button once)
  • In that menu you should press DOWN until the display shows 'Expire DD MMM YY' (e.g. 13 Oct 24 means 13 October 2024)
  • This is the expiry date of the subscription configured in the demodulator
  • Check that this is correct according to your agreement

On this unit subscription information is located in the About menu

  • Press the DOWN button followed by ; then press DOWN until the second line of the display shows 'Subsc:'
  • The letters following identify the configured subscription type; press DOWN once more to see the subscription expiry date.
  • Check that both the type and expiry date are correct according to subscription agreement.
